2008 CRM Market LeaderCognos, an IBM Company was named a Market Leader in the BI category of the seventh annual CRM Market Awards. The awards honored the vendors, consultants, and end-user companies focused on creating and cultivating rewarding customer experiences and relationships through the sophisticated integration of people, processes, and technologies. "CRM magazine is pleased to present the 2008 CRM Market Awards to those companies and individuals who are raising the bar in their customer relationship initiatives. These efforts are helping companies streamline business processes, maximize profitability, and provide more value to customers," said David Myron, editorial director of CRM magazine. "Congratulations to this year's award recipients. May they continue to raise the standard of CRM excellence." Recipients were determined through an extensive three-month process and proprietary rating formula that involves industry analysts, financial and corporate information, product and functionality assessments, and scores reflecting customer satisfaction.

Cognos Wins IR Magazine Canada Grand Prix Award for Best Overall Investor Relations, Large Cap Companies.The IR Magazine Canada Awards, now in their eleventh year, recognize the top investor relations practitioners at Canadian companies. The awards are based on an extensive independent research survey of analysts and portfolio managers who are each interviewed for 10 to 20 minutes on the qualities of corporate IR teams as well as the contribution made to them by senior management. Cognos selected to Global Logistics and Supply Chain Strategies' 100 Great Supply Chain Partners list This award is the end result of a six-month poll in which the Magazine asked logistics and supply chain professionals to nominate vendors and service providers whose technology, logistics, transportation or consulting solutions have made a significant impact on their company’s efficiency, customer service and overall supply chain performance. More than 2,000 nominations were submitted in 2007 from small and large companies covering scores of different industries on five continents. Cognos Ranked Among North America's Top 500 Technology Integrators by VARBusiness Magazine Cognos has been recognized as one of North America's top technology integrators, coming in at #177 in the 12th annual VARBusiness 500 ranking. VARBusiness editor Lawrence M. Walsh says, "companies like Cognos play critical roles in providing the proper information-technology strategies and systems to corporations and institutions to help drive business forward." The rankings were compiled by a third-party research firm and looked at reseller-related services business revenue from fiscal year 2005.
